I’m back as promised to update everyone on my earning for the Red Cross Sunday.

As you may recall, I pledged, “Any profit from my calls during these hours and any virtual bouquets I might receive during these hours, will be donated to the Red Cross.” Those hours being the ones I worked Sunday 9/11/11, in honor of 9/11/01.

I’m happy to announce that I raised $152.80 in calls and I will be donating all of that to the American Red Cross as promised.

With the approach of September 11th, I know most are feeling mixed emotions; of sadness and hopefully inspiration to do our part to help those who are fighting in honor of those who died. I know I’ve been thinking about what I might do to show my support this coming weekend. And then I ran across the perfect idea.
